    In Claims our goals are simple: we want to provide co-workers with the best working environment and give customers an Exceptional Claims Experience.  Team Managers are pivotal to this and we are looking for someone with brilliant people skills, care for the customer, outstanding claims knowledge, who is adaptable to a constantly changing environment and who really wants to make a difference to their team and the department by leading from the front.  Casualty Team Managers at Elephant oversee a team of adjusters that may include a combination of Injury Specialist, Litigation Specialists, and/or First Party Medical Adjusters and are responsible for monitoring adjusters workload and performance as well as approving their settlements.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure you team is delivering exceptional Claims service
    • Bring new ideas forward to perfect the customer journey
    • Be the voice of the customer
    • Monitor adjuster workload and performance
    • Handle customer complaints effectively and correctly
    • Approve payment and reserve requests
    • Authorize 3rd Party Bodily Injury settlements for primarily attorney represented claimants
    • Assist adjusters with complex claim resolution
    • Develop and improve your Claims Adjusters
    • Complete all necessary administrative tasks for the Injury Specialist/Litigation Specialist team
    • Report team metrics and performance up to the Casualty Manager and Claims Leadership

    Required Qualifications:

    • Basic computer and typing skills
    • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Extensive knowledge of claims processes, procedures, and duties
    • Positive attitude with a willingness to adapt and learn
    • Care for the company and the customers
    • Leadership and motivational skills
    • Have a strong focus on file handling quality
    • High School diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Experience with Guidewire
    • College degree
    • Minimum of 5 years Personal Auto Claims handling experience
    • Minimum of 3 years Injury Claims handling experience to include attorney represented claimants, MP/PIP and litigated files
    • Prior Claims Leadership experience
