    About our People Services (HR) Generalist:

    The People Services Generalist provides HR support to all areas within the People Services (HR) department with primary support for benefits and payroll. The teams within People Services department are: Employee Relations, Benefits and Payroll, Recruitment, Training and Communication.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assists the Benefits and Payroll team
    • Coordinates with all teams in the People Services department
    • Helps manage Elephant’s relationship with our vendor partners
    • Supports Onboarding by leading new hire meetings and completing/filing required employee documents
    • Audits files as required
    • Supports Recruiting by completing pre-hire onboarding, monitoring background checks, making travel arrangements and assist with escorting candidates for interviews
    • Coordinates company-wide surveys and internal communication programs
    • Proactively communicate with employees by answering questions, soliciting feedback and handling non-standard events
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 2 - 4 years of experience working in an HR function
    • Payroll processing experience
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and retain and apply information
    • Advanced typing and computer skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR
    • Paychex and/or Ultimate Software experience

    Workplace Qualifications:

    • Ability to work on a computer for a full workday
    • Ability to type on a keyboard
    • Ability to sit at a desk for a full workday
